2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The data is processed in a data centre in Nuremberg and thus within the European Union. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

3. Server Log Files

When you access this website, the web server automatically processes information transmitted by your browser: the page requested, date and time, the volume of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to identify individual persons. The logs are overwritten on a rolling basis and are generally no longer available after 30 days at the latest. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Cookies

This website does not use any marketing, advertising or statistics cookies. The only cookie set is a technically necessary session cookie of the content management system (Section 25(2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It contains no profile data and expires at the latest when you close your browser. As no cookies requiring consent are used, this website does not need a cookie banner.

5. Contact by Email, Newsletter

If you contact me by email, I process the information you provide solely to deal with your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete it once the matter has been resolved and no statutory retention obligations apply.

You can subscribe to the literary newsletter “Ich schreibe” (“I write”) by sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. For this purpose I store your email address and, if provided, your name in order to send you the newsletter (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by sending an informal email; your data will then be deleted. The newsletter is sent from the domain’s email mailbox; there is no tracking of opens or clicks.

6. No Web Analytics, No Tracking

This website does not measure audience reach or analyse your usage behaviour. Neither Google Analytics nor any comparable analytics, advertising or tracking services are used.

7. Videos, Fonts, Links to Third Parties

The videos on this website are delivered from our own server; no video platforms are embedded. The fonts are delivered locally; there is no connection to Google Fonts. Links to YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, online shops or other websites are simple references: only when you click such a link is a connection established to the respective provider, which is then responsible for the processing of your data.

8. SSL/TLS Encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar begins with “https://” and a padlock symbol is displayed.

9. Recipients and Transfers to Third Countries

The recipients of your data are our hosting provider Hetzner Online GmbH as a processor (see Section 2) and the operator of the email service, ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, proprietor René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany, through which emails are received, sent and stored in the mailbox. No data is transferred to countries outside the European Union.

10. Your Rights

You have the right of access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR), and the rights to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21), and to withdraw any consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). 11. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
